Gins

Cheers, or as the Dutch say… Proost!

The next time you raise a glass of gin, spare a thought for the 17th-century Dutch scientists who created it. Yes, believe it or not the great British G&T isn’t quite as British as you think. In fact, the humble green-bottled spirit has quite a chequered history spanning hundreds of years and has journeyed through most of Europe in its time.

The Pumping Station is proud to have gathered possibly one of the largest collections of gins around. From the everyday brands to the obscure and the extremely rare, you’ll find them all here in our sumptuous Victorian setting nestled in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside.

We’ll guide you through the history of this exquisite little tipple, then you’ll be able to sample some of the substantial varieties we have in our cellars.

Gin has never been so popular, and with so many flavours and unique recipes, there’s bound to be one that becomes your new favourite.
